www. woltersworld. com WE HAVE seen ‘em all, Heard Them, Been embaressed by Them. THEY are the “ugly” tourists. Whether talking to loud, Being Culturally insensitive or Just Being annoying. Here are five tips from Wolters World in order for you NOT to Be an ugly tourist. 1. Do not talk so loud. 2. Learn a bit Of The native language. 3. Dress Appropriately. 4. Learn a bit Of The culture / history 5. Know That It Is not your home country n Things Will Be Different, Accept and Appreciate Those differences.

  6. With the whole learning the language thing, I try to do what he said, but then people think I’m fluent or soemthing. and I’m not. So I end up saying “yes” to things that I don’t necessarily agree with.

  10. i would add “when having a conversation with someone else, please try to avoid the constant – and unnecessary – repetition of the word ‘like’” and “please speak a little less”. Have you ever been in a conversation with someone that spoke rapid-fire-machine-gun for minutes in a row? It makes one tired.

  18. I know that… Have you ever seen German tourists on Mallorca? You know those teens and tweens drinking the Sangría out of big plastic buckets, being druken the whole day long, screaming around and that kind of stuff?

    Ich sag’ nur “Ballermann 6″ und schlage mir dabei die Hand ins Gesicht…

  22. aaw, I wish you would’ve filmed your entire wedding. I love weddings.
    I am now designing and making my sisters entire wedding. She’s wants a reverse black and white wedding.
    All your travel trips are so true. That happened to me. I noticed they liked me more if I tried to speak their language. In Cyprus, I was so imbarrassed. The locals just kept staring in disbelief at this drunk English man, size of a giant, at least 6’5″, Jumping up and down on the old floor, trying to dance greek.
